Support

One address, read by a person. Say which Mac and macOS version, and attach the run's log if the question is about something that was removed.

The support address is set at deploy time. Until then this page is a placeholder with the real answers.

Write to us

support@ (address to be published) · Tio Teknoloji. Replies within two working days; billing questions first.

Receipts, keys, refunds, seats

  • Your receipt and licence key: the store's My orders page, with the email you bought with.
  • Refund within 30 days: from the same page, or write to us. No reason needed.
  • Moving to a new Mac: Settings ▸ Account ▸ Deactivate this Mac, then activate the key on the other one. If the old Mac is gone, write to us and we free the seat.

Something was removed that you wanted back

  1. Open the Trash: unless the Trash setting was off, it is there. Put it back.
  2. Open the log for that run (done screen ▸ Show Log File) to see every path.
  3. If the item is not in the Trash, tell us which log line and what the item was. If it belongs on the never-touch list, it goes there in the next update.

The log format

Every run writes one text file to ~/Library/Logs/Tio Uptomizer/, named by date and action. The first line names the run and when it ran; the second line is the tally; then one line per item: result, action, size, path, and a note when something was skipped or failed.

columnvalues
resultok or FAIL
actiontrashed, deleted (Trash items and the Trash-off setting), skipped, failed, ran (a maintenance task)
sizewhat that item freed
paththe full path, so you can find it again
notewhy it was left alone: "changed since scan", "protected path", "needs the helper", or the system's error

The same lines are in the app under View Log on every done screen.

Full Disk Access and the helper

Full Disk Access: System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Full Disk Access, tick Tio Uptomizer, then press Scan again. The helper: Settings ▸ General ▸ Install, approve under Login Items & Extensions, rescan. Both can be revoked in the same places.

Crashes

macOS keeps crash reports under ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports; attach the newest one named "Tio Uptomizer". The app sends nothing on its own.
