What you are buying
A licence to use Tio Uptomizer on the number of Macs named at checkout (One Mac, Plus for two, Family for five). The licence is one-time: it does not renew and nothing is charged after the purchase. It includes the updates released in the twelve months after purchase; after that the version you have keeps working, and further updates are an optional separate purchase.
The free part
Scanning is free, needs no account, and stays free. Cleaning needs a seven-day trial, which starts in the app and ends on its own, or a licence key.
Refunds
Thirty days from purchase, for any reason, through the store's "My orders" page or the support address. Deactivating the Mac in Settings is not required first.
Moving to another Mac
Settings ▸ Account ▸ Deactivate this Mac frees a seat; the same key activates on the next Mac. Seats are per Mac, not per user.
What the software does to files, and your part in it
The app lists what it found and removes only what is ticked when you press Run. Removed items go to the Trash and a log is written for every run; items already in a Trash, and files removed with the Trash setting turned off, are deleted. The app refuses a published list of locations (sign-in data, Mail, Photos, sync data, licences). It cannot know what every file means to you: review the list before you press Run, keep a backup as you would anyway, and read the log afterwards.
The privileged helper
System caches, logs and background items need a helper that runs with administrator rights. It is installed only when you choose Install, approved by you in System Settings, accepts requests only from Tio Uptomizer, and can be removed from the same Settings screen.
Malware scanning
The Protection module compares files against a downloaded list of known-bad hashes and flags startup items that look wrong. It is a second opinion next to macOS's own protections, not an antivirus, and finding nothing is not a guarantee that nothing is there.
Warranty and liability
The software is provided as is. To the extent the law of your country allows, Tio Teknoloji is not liable for loss of data or loss of use; where the law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights apply. This is the section the lawyer will rewrite.
Acceptable use
Do not reverse-engineer the licence check, share keys beyond the seats you bought, or redistribute the app. Everything else a normal user does is fine.
